Your experiences with the mental health or addition systems or police can inform the Empowerment Council who will try to make organizational changes that will benefit you and others. Psychiatric Patient Advocate Office (PPAO)
Psychiatric Patient Advocate Office (PPAO) is independent of CAMH and offers advocacy for people who are inpatients at CAMH. They also provide rights advice and can assist you in contacting a lawyer if necessary.

The CAMH Client Relations Office (CRO) is part of CAMH. They respond to complaints or compliments from clients/patients of CAMH, families, or others.

Legal Aid Ontario

Ontario Independent Police Review Director (OIPRD)
If you have a complaint about police in Ontario, you can make it to the OIPRD. If they refer it to the police, you can ask that it be referred back to the OIPRD.
