The Empowerment Council recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of our visitors. We are committed to maintaining your privacy, whether you are browsing for information or submitting information on the website. We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from loss, alteration or unauthorized access.

Personal Information

No personal information (name, address, telephone, screen name and email) about the user is collected unless specified and clearly requested. Any personal information collected is private and confidential. It will be retained only as long as it is needed, and then we securely destroy it. We use all reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized use or disclosure. Your information will not be shared with third parties unless clearly indicated.

Like most websites, the EC uses small pieces of information called “cookies” that are stored on your computer or device.

We use ‘analytics’ cookies to collect anonymous information about how visitors use the website. All web traffic is logged and associated with the visitor’s Internet Protocol (IP) address. The tracking of this data is to improve reliability of our site and the information we provide. Third parties may not access this information and we cannot identify individuals.
